Shan Koe Mee is a popular card game in Myanmar played with a 52-card deck (no Joker). Each player is dealt 3 cards, and the hand value is calculated using the last digit of the sum of the card numbers. 9 is the highest possible value.

Step-by-Step Weekly Gameplay

1. After the banker is decided, players place their bets for the round.
2. The banker deals 3 cards to each player face down.
3. Each player adds up their card values and counts only the last digit as the hand value — for example, 7+8 = 15 → hand value is 5.
4. Players with a hand value higher than the Banker's win; if tied, the Banker pays back the bet; players with a lower value pay the Banker.
5. The Banker role rotates around the table, so every player gets a turn as Banker.

Special hands

Players generally agree that special hands — such as all three cards having the same number (Triple), all three cards in sequence (Straight), and all three cards of the same suit (Flush) — can outrank an ordinary 9. Rules may vary by table, so check the rules at the table entrance before you sit down.

Table rules and Bankroll reminder

Do not show or discuss your cards with others at the table before they are revealed. When discarding, place cards down smoothly and decisively — slamming cards is frowned upon at the table. Decide your budget before you play, and only play if you are prepared to stop when you lose.

Bankroll management is one approach that helps your money last longer in online casino and football betting, and makes the experience more enjoyable. It is not a system for guaranteed winnings — it is a disciplined approach to controlling losses and keeping your play sustainable.

1. Set a gambling budget — Never mix your gambling funds with your savings, business money, or essential expenses. Set aside only what you can afford to lose without it affecting the rest of your life.
2. Split into sessions — Divide your total bankroll into sessions. For example, if you lose 20% of your session amount, stop that session and continue from a separate allocation next time. This way you cannot lose everything in a single night.
3. 1–5% per-bet rule — Experienced players recommend betting no more than 1–5% of your bankroll on any single bet. For example, with a bankroll of 100,000 Ks, each bet should be 1,000–5,000 Ks. This stretches your play and gives you a better chance of still being in the game when a win comes.
4. Set a target to stop after winning — Players often keep chasing bigger wins after an early win, so set a target prize amount and when you reach it, stop playing and withdraw your winnings.
5. Loss limit — "Stop Loss" — If you lose 30–50% of your bankroll in a single day, stop for the day and come back the next day with a clear head. Chasing losses immediately can make things worse.
6. Keep a record of your play — Note the dates, amounts, and win/loss results. This helps you clearly see which games suit you best, when your budget is running thin, and how to play more carefully going forward.
